Further rules and format details will be discussed in the drivers meeting. We plan to be driving at 12:00. A warm-up and qualifying session are still in negotiaitions. Further rules and format details will be discussed in the drivers meeting. Please be sure to bring wind blocking gloves and wear warm cloths. It is wintertime and we don't want to worry about hypothermia. We set up registration to bounce anyone past the first 15 to the wait list. That doesn't mean you are out! If you get put on the wait list, please wait for a call from me before you pay. We are limited to the number of karts, but if I can get all 20, I will. We need to keep at least 3 as spares for breakdowns. See you at the track! Dave and the Team at WBR Racing |

Rules/event information:
- Each team will consist of three drivers.
- Each driver on each team must drive at least 20 minutes.
- Two pit-stops and two driver changes are mandatory
- Summit Point staff will handle refueling as necessary. Details about this will be explained at the drivers meetings.
- No electronic communication (signs/pit boards/hand signals only.)
- No bumping, blocking, or rough driving.
- Point-by's are highly recommended.
- The start will be vintage Le Mans style meaning all karts will be lined up on one side of the track, the drivers will be on the other. When the flag drops, the drivers will run to their kart and start the race. We are also considering a standing start.
The race rules are pretty simple. Here they are in no particular order:
- No electronic communication (signs/pit boards/hand signals only.)
- No blocking or rough driving.
- Point-by's are highly recommended.
- Driver attire is closed-toe shoes, and full face helmets with visors (there are plenty of loaner helmets in the kart shed.) You can wear shorts under the race suites provided by SPK, the suits are required to be worn while driving.
- If you break your kart, spare karts will be ready for you to hop in and go back out.
- If you break down, get stuck, or run out of gas on the course, STAY IN YOUR KART (Summit Point Kart staff will come to you.)
- The consumption of alcohol is prohibited until after you're done driving your stint.
- Anything announced at the drivers meeting supersedes anything written here.
